Biografía
Spanish sculptor born in Bilbao (1979) Hilera graduated with honors at the School of Arts and Crrafts in Valladolid; During that time he does internships in different carving specialties, in wood as well as in stone, guided by the masters of religious imaginary.

Once he mastered all the techniques and classic methodologies, Jesús decides to explore new horizons and experiment by mixing materials and possibilities, indulging in his own creativity, which impregnates his oeuvres with his very own, fascinating and recognizable style. His pieces, abstract or figurative, always contain
significance, a thought or an exact reason to be that grant them an aura of subtle beauty and a sense of unconscious mystery for the beholder.
Hilera plays with v olume and space, getting through the outerskin of the piece transporting us to the inner universe of sculpture.
